Salon News丨Multimodal Transport Powers Cost Reduction, Efficiency Improvement, and Green Low-Carbon Development in Logistics

On the afternoon of May 13, 2025, the 29th themed salon of the China Clean Transportation Partnership (CCTP) - "Multimodal Transport Driving Cost Reduction, Efficiency Improvement, and Green Low-Carbon Development in Logistics" - was successfully held in Xi'an, Shaanxi. Co-hosted by CCTP and the School of Automobile at Chang'an University, the salon gathered more than 30 experts, scholars, and decision-makers from government departments, universities, research institutions, and enterprises. They had a lively exchange on the key role of multimodal transport in optimizing the transportation structure, reducing logistics costs, promoting green low-carbon transportation, and constructing a modern comprehensive transportation system.

On the morning of August 15, 2024, the 28th themed salon of China Clean Transportation Partnership (CCTP) - Electrification of the Yangtze River: Practices and Exploration in Advancing the Low-Carbon Transition of Inland Waterway Shipping was successfully held in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Jointly organized by Wuhan Changjiang Ship Design Institute Co.,Ltd. (CSDI) and CCTP, the salon adopted a combination of online and offline format, bringing together nearly 50 policy researchers, industry experts and industry practitioners from across the country to discuss the green and low-carbon transition of inland shipping, share insights and make relevant suggestions.
