Dr. Huan LIU got her Bachelor and Ph.D. degree in Tsinghua University in 2004 and 2009, and she served as postdoctoral in CE-CERT, University of California, Riverside. She was also a researcher at ISSRC (International Sustainable System Research Center). Her research areas include human transportation activities interacting with air pollution and climate change, the impact of global shipping emissions, motor vehicle emissions and urban air pollution, and air pollution prevention and control decision-making. She has received several awards, including the National Young Talent Award (2021), the Newton Advanced Fellowship (2020), and the UNEP Climate and Clean Air Award (2019).
