On November 18, the Guangzhou Municipal Planning and Resources Bureau released the "Guangzhou Comprehensive Transportation System Plan (2023-2035)." The plan outlines key initiatives to enhance Guangzhou's transportation infrastructure and position the city as an international comprehensive transportation hub by 2035.The plan includes expanding and upgrading Baiyun Airport, developing general aviation airports, and promoting low-altitude aviation to build a resilient and efficient multi-airport system, branding Guangzhou as a "Sky City."
