On September 12, multiple departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Automotive Industry Growth Stabilization Work Plan (2025-2026)". The plan sets the following targets for 2025: annual auto sales of approximately 32.3 million vehicles, representing about 3% year-on-year growth, including about 15.5 million new energy vehicle sales with roughly 20% year-on-year growth; stable growth in auto exports; and about 6% year-on-year growth in the value-added of the automotive manufacturing industry.
