On July 3, the General Office of the People's Government of Sichuan Province issued the "Implementation Plan for Developing and Expanding Emerging Industries and Accelerating the Cultivation of Future Industries (2025-2027)". The plan mentions giving full play to Sichuan’s advantages in renewable energy and equipment manufacturing to promote the integrated development of hydrogen energy “production, storage, transportation, and application”. It calls for carrying out the development of complete sets of equipment for hydrogen production by water electrolysis, water photolysis, and industrial by-product hydrogen, encouraging increased R&D investment to reduce hydrogen production costs. Efforts will be made to develop storage and transportation equipment such as solid-state, cryogenic high-pressure, and organic liquid systems, striving to build a highly reliable and low-cost storage and transportation system.
