On June 23, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization issued the Notice on the "Implementation Plan for the Construction of User-Side Virtual Power Plants in Shanghai (2025-2027)". The document specifies enhancing vehicle-grid bidirectional interaction capabilities. It calls for promoting the upgrading and transformation of smart charging and swapping stations as well as the intelligent transformation of distribution networks, effectively aggregating the load regulation capabilities of charging and swapping stations, strengthening bidirectional interaction between electric vehicles and the power grid, and vigorously advancing pilot demonstrations such as vehicle networking and V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) technologies.
