On June 18, the Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the "Medium- and Long-Term Plan for Innovative Development of Fujian’s Hydrogen Energy Industry (2025–2035)". It states that the period from 2025 to 2030 will be the initial development stage. During this phase, the following goals are set: establish over 10 high-level innovation platforms; cultivate 1–3 100-megawatt-level green power-to-hydrogen demonstration projects; build 1–3 pilot demonstration projects for hydrogen-based green marine fuel refueling ports; construct 50 hydrogen refueling stations of various types; develop 10 operational demonstration routes in ports, industrial parks, or urban areas; achieve an annual output of 6,000 fuel cell vehicles; and realize large-scale commercial application of hydrogen energy. Priority will be given to advancing green methanol projects for marine propulsion fuel, prioritizing breakthroughs in relevant core technologies, accelerating pilot-scale testing and small-scale industrialization, improving conversion efficiency, reducing production, storage, and transportation costs, fostering industrial competitive advantages, cultivating and attracting leading technology enterprises, and establishing large-scale hydrogen-based green fuel supply bases. Efforts will be made to achieve an annual green hydrogen production capacity of 30,000 tons, an annual hydrogen-based green fuel production capacity of 100,000 tons, and a total output value of the hydrogen energy industry exceeding 60 billion yuan per year.
